Designed by renowned designer Bill Tripp, creator of the famous 12-meter America's Cup, it was built in the 1960s by the Columbia shipyard in San Diego, California. In Brazil, there are only two Columbia 50s: the iconic Lady Lou, owned by Olympic medalist Torben Grael, and the elegant Aquarius.
